Back in the 90s, a Nokia commercial in Taiwan translated their slogan “Connecting
People” as 「科技始終來自於人性」— “technology comes from humanity”; that idea
stuck with me ever since. Design and technology aren’t separate disciplines,
they’re intertwined: the thinking that shapes what gets built is design, and
design is the intention behind every technical decision.
I’m a full stack engineer with nearly 10 years of experience building and maintaining
production web applications. While I’m comfortable across the stack, I’m especially
interested in the intersection of frontend engineering and user experience,
which is just as important to me as solving the underlying business problem.
